The malodorous muck of mendacity is neck deep and rising!

The corporatocracy/moneyed class cabal is once again spinning its web of rapacious deceit blatantly raping the public coffers and breaking the middle class workers down to the serfdom required to insure their high position and profits. Our government abets them at every turn. How can this be, “we the people” have elected them? No – we didn’t elect them, the corporatocracy/moneyed class determined which candidates we would get to vote for using vast influence and money (Rush Bimbo-augh listeners should substitute “free speech/campaign donations” here) and we merely selected which of the flavors of carcinogenic laced preprocessed industrial strength cool-aide we would be forced to consume. Our congress of patsies, pederasts, alcoholics, whores, (expand here ad nauseum) thus turn vast sums of tax dollars over to the financial people who profited most from the go go days and raped the economy so badly that it crashed and is burning. The original stated intent was to stop the foreclosures by buying up and refinancing the bad mortgages to help the working people involved. How noble! But then the “king and I” finance secretary/tsar got the word from the fucking financial jackals – Give us the money to steal, let the workers get thrown out of their houses so we can profit on the seized property, send the labor market into a black hole so we can lower all the corporate labor costs by breaking the already weakened (and demonized) trade unions, forcing (allowing) the manufacturing industrial sector corporations to “restructure or go through bankruptcy restructuring” so they can abrogate all their agreements to provide healthcare and pensions to workers and retired workers, suspend any environmental regulations interfering with increased profit, impoverish the middle class to a level of servitude by tanking the stock market eliminating most or all of their hard earned nest egg and retirement investments as well as devaluating any excess equity built into their real estate and make as many of the staples they require as expensive as possible. Its the “company store” deal. Meanwhile the nonworking corporatocracy/moneyed class can buy up GM, Ford, Chrysler, and every other vastly undervalued stock, at pennies on the C note with their vast holdings. Then sit on their pimply corpulent nonworking asses and wait for the government to bail them out with OUR tax money. Then the economy recovers and they rape massive profits and the “natural order” is restored (corporatocracy/moneyed class hegemony over a vast undervalued worker class) and we have a seemingly populist President that was powerless to actually help the masses smiling and basking in the glow of a disaster narrowly averted (corporatocracy/moneyed class smirks here). Happy days are here again!

So what should be done? We must reverse the disastrous crap of supply side/trickle down economics perpetrated on the working class by that champion of the corporatocracy/moneyed class – Ronald Reagan. We should move immediately to Demand Side/capillary action up economics. That is to say that all bailout money to every sector of the economy should take two forms, –1, capital applied to businesses to forestall liquidity bankruptcy issues and – 2, institute demand stimulus directly to and benefiting the middle and lower class workers. The capital directly applied to foundering businesses should take the form of governmental purchase of voting preferred stock bought at slightly below present market value in large enough blocks to stabilize the corporation and then later to be used to exert direct pressure on said corporations for the benefit of the country (middle and lower working class) and as a direct window into the inner workings of the beast. Next – the demand side stimulus. It should take the form of directly buying up the bad mortgages and renegotiating nonprofit making terms for any primary domicile. No money should be expended saving second homes or investment properties. Huge tax breaks and government issued coupons should be given to anyone buying one or two American made cars per household below a means test income level. Don’t give money to rich people that don’t need it. They’re sitting on their money now because they are greedy not because they are in dire straits. This same program should be applied to home renovation. Massive small business start up incentives should be put into place to stimulate employment. And of course a huge infrastructure spending program should be started with all of the work going to construction companies capitalized in part by government stock purchases – this will insure that the robber baron bastard - Dick Cheneys of the Brown and Root /Bechtel/Halliburton ilk will have a hard time stealing vast quantities of the funds before they actually get used. Golly!!! Do I smell Socialism? Hell yeah! Since when is a socialistic enrichment/bailout of the corporatocracy/moneyed class ok but when it comes to the workers only free market lowest third world common denominator wages, benefits, working conditions, safety, healthcare and environmental policies are necessary! The

USA should be a real Democracy not just a sham democracy to protect the corporatocracy/moneyed class. Power to the people baby!

Ok so what is Jack smoking? If you don’t see that our government is waging class warfare against the middle and lower working classes I present a very short list of Orwellian double speak “reform” (read as new laws designed to fuck the working class) programs that were floated or passed by our beloved W lead government.

- Tort “Reform”, it CAPS the amount on awards against large corporations on liability suits. This is a great one! It allows the corporations to do very precise cost benefit analysis calculations when consciously producing defective and injurious products. Like, hmmm if we sell 500k$ a month and we get only 5 suits over that period that are filed for wrongful death and win 2 of them we’ll still making massive profit on the product since our liability on the lost cases will be capped at say 50K$! Rush Bimbo-augh says “it will virtually eliminate FRIVOLOUS lawsuits.” The problem is it will eliminate any meaningful recourse we have against corporate bad behavior!

 - Medical Malpractice “Reform”, Caps the amount awards against doctors, hospitals, HMOs, health insurance corporations etc. Same old shit, it stops the common people from avenging and effecting bad treatment and policies by suing for significant amounts of money. See above.

 - Bankruptcy “Reform” makes it very difficult to escape grinding debt in a bad financial situation by imposing many new strictures and conditions against successful filing. Let us just say that this is the precise opposite of a corporate bailout – its a personal  SHIT STORM against common people in a bad financial situation. The upper class is a hop and a skip away from opening debtor’s prisons and forcing people to sell their children into industrial child labor camps.

 - Overtime “Reform”, this one would rescind any requirements for overtime pay, ok let me repeat that, this one would rescind any requirements for overtime pay! How fucking blatant can you get? This one is almost as bad as when W said that outsourcing jobs to cheap third world labor markets is good for the economy!!!!

 - Immigration “Reform”, the “guest worker” program – This one institutionalizes indentured servitude of foreign nationals and will be instrumental in depressing  American worker wages to a nonliving wage level. Great stuff eh? Next it will be the Happy Happy wonderful eugenics life “Reform” law where they allow the police to kill any worker protesting bad conditions if their net worth is under 250k$.

I could go on forever with this shit, it writes itself. All you have to do is totally disregard the Orwellian Doublespeak propagandistic lies on the title and figure out what the bastards are trying to do.

I expect a great hew and cry on this blog especially from the middle and lower class workers who have swallowed the corporatocracy/moneyed class bullshit making them believe that they are part of the moneyed class and that their interests can only be protected by the rapacious consumerist exploitative manipulative policies of the Neocon Republican movement. Trickle Down economics is fucking bullshit! Whether you like it or not you’re being raped along with the rest of us. The only difference is that you’re not smart enough to deplore it.

END OF RANT

(*sigh* I feel much better)

Can read the cuneiform on the wall!

We spent a fabulous T day holiday weekend with loved ones. The official feast was at my sisters. The food was excellent the company only so so (kidding).  I ate too much and then sat in-front of the fire conversing and drinking vast quantities of beer and wine and eating more. Baxter and Bart had a great time running and playing in the snow with cousin Riley too. After passing out we spent the night and made our way north to Buffalo to impose on the hospitality of the Baxter/Poczik/Colombi clan. It was my first time to Bob and Ellen’s house and found it to be as warm and inviting as the owners. We had a ham dinner there with fabulous twice baked potatoes (a favorite and downfall of mine), with Bob’s subtly brilliant broccoli, asparagus in hollandaise sauce, and  Mary’s home-made crescent rolls and vast quantity of wine, whiskey sours, beer and great conversation. Absolutely delightful! We stayed over at Matt’s place and played are you smarter than a 5th grader well into the night. The old folks spanked the daylights out of the youngsters both nights of play. But we had to investigate several questions, determining the game in error. In any case it was completely evident that our (the old folks) combined encyclopaedic knowledge would always carry the day.

But the cool thing was that Andrew had his I-Phone out several times to check Wikipedia for possibly errant answers. The game was off the mark several times but that is neither here nor there. It occurred to me that with the ease of access to vast quantities of information and its increasing integration into our lives that knowledge may soon be sittting in the back of the progress bus and inspiration, vision, reason, imagination, and knowing what questions to ask will be siting up front. A nirvana like situation, utilization of the omniscient datasphere. I am sorry that I am probably too old to see it to fruition but ah what godlike fun it would be!

After saying our goodbyes we were accompanied by Bob and Ellen to The Paddock’s Hunters Run kennel. We showed off our beautiful boys to the breeders, acquainted ourselves with Baxter and Bart’s canine relatives and watched Bob and Ellen select Dolly’s new brother. A very adorable pup. It is truly amazing how well built and adjusted all the tibetan terriers are at Hunter’s Run – I heartily recommend anyone in the market for the sweetest dog on earth to consider the Tibetans there. We then parted ways with Bob and Ellen and made our way home. The weather was rainy and miserable. At least not snowing. On the way home we had another fantastic yet unexpected surprise. We stopped to eat in Belfast NY on Rte 19 at a small restaurant called the Allegany Grill. Cest magnifique! Small, warm, with reasonably priced  high cuisine! I had a nice slab of lightly grilled medium prime rib with a drizzled portabella mushroom demiglaze and Janet had a boneless chicken breast, stuffed with crabmeat and covered by a delicate sauce. Absolutely delicious! Both entrees were under 15$ and included soup and salad bar and potato! This place should be a destination if any of you get south of Rochester New York.

That was our great weekend – Janet took some great pics too I’ll post some later.
